The hotel's location is excellent. It is the closest hotel to the Fox Glacier hiking meeting point, and the glacier mountains are right outside the window.
The service is a bit poor... The wifi signal in the room we were given was not good at first. We reported it to the front desk, but they said they had never received such complaints and expressed disbelief... I was speechless...
Fortunately, they finally changed us to another room near the center, which also solved the wifi problem.

The hotel is right next to the departure point for the Fox Glacier helicopter, and you can walk there after checking in. It rained when we came so we couldn't make the trip, but the hotel itself was pretty good and the room was large. The only drawback was that the water pressure was very low and the shower was not very comfortable. Breakfast is a Western-style buffet breakfast, which is not rich but enough to satisfy you. You can have dinner for white people at the whitepub coffee shop next to the hotel. It costs NZD 25-30 per person and the taste is okay. Hotels in Fox Glacier are generally expensive. After 11 days in New Zealand, this is the only one with a price over 1,000.

Horrible, horrible experience. Air condition was not working during SUMMER and instead they provided a fan that could not oscillate and was louder than an airplane propeller when turned on. I asked for a refund but they refused. Do not book at all cost.
